Introducing....BABY ALLIGATOR!!

When Dalton and I visited Michigan, my dad said that the noises Dalton made sounded like those of a baby alligator (he watches alot of Discovery Channel). Hence - a nickname is born! Grandpa has this t-shirt made extra special for his Baby Alligator :0)

Ya Don't Say??!!

I've Made a New Friend!

Tina came over tonight with her son, Kenneth James - a.k.a. "KJ". KJ is 3 months older than Dalton and could crawl all over and stand up,etc. Dalton didn't know what to think of him and cried a bit when KJ tried to play with some of his toys. Hopefully he'll learn to share?! We plan to have many more playdates with Tina and KJ!!

Fancy 'Do!

He finally is growing in his hair and I love to grease it up with Baby Lotion and do a mohawk.

Ya Caught Me!

Grandma B Cracks Me Up!

Grandma B (Barb) and Papa Dick flew in from Pennsylvania to stay with us for a few weeks and to meet Dalton. We all had a great time and Dalton just loved hanging out with them both. Travis and I even got to go on our first "Date Night" while they babysat for us. We sure miss them...

Hmmmmm...Ya Don't Say?

Caught in the Act?

Don't they both just look guilty of SOMETHING???!!! haha

Nursery Rhymes

Dalton enjoyed sitting with Grandma B and listening to nursery rhymes. Although he would try to eat the book from time to time. That damn teething thing...

Grandma B is a Genius!

Grandma B suggested why not haul the high chair out of the garage and actually put Dalton in it. I didn't think he was big enough but he is and he loved it! I think he feels like hot stuff cuz he is on our "level" now when he eats.

Handsome Fella

We took Dalton out in the backyard and put him in his latest toy. He loves it but can only push himself backwards. It is mainly stationed now in the living room and is referred to as "The Pooping Chair"...for reasons you can figure out on your own! ha

One Cool Dude

Long Legs

Watching TV with Papa Dick

Papa Dick also taught Dalton how to wave "Hi" while he was in Vegas with us. Of course it sounds more like (imagine a high pitched baby-talk voice now) "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii....!!!" ha

Future Michael Phelps

Dalton just loves the pool - he will go in it no matter what the temperature. We are planning to sign him up for lessons once he gets a little bit older. And we plan to put him in swim trunks one day too!

I'm Ready

Dalton is ready for his first experience with solid foods...the tasty RICE CEREAL!! ha

First Bite

We finally started Dalton on cereal when he turned five months old. He wasn't too sure about the stuff but now he's a pro and just chows down on it twice a day. We start veggies soon so that will be an adventure, I'm sure. Please note, this way a team effort: The hand with fingernail polish is mine and the bigger/hairier one on the left is Travis'! ha

Not So Sure...

Sloppy Stuff!

Hey, I Like It!

Ready for His Vacation

Dalton and I went up to northern Michigan for a few weeks in July to visit my family. We had an absolutely wonderful time and also got to see my grandparents that flew in from Colorado, my uncle from Colorado and also my aunt and uncle from Florida.

Smiles for Everyone

I just love this picture of Dalton and my parents. They all look so happy!

Happy Grandma!

Need I say more?

Their Future's So Bright...

...they gotta wear shades! Grandpa and Dalton were getting ready to go out for their stroller walk out in the country up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where my parents & family live. They just moved into their brand new home in the boonies. Otherwise known as , "The House That Bob Built".

Dalton & Auntie Melissa

I realize that Dalton has a lot of "aunties" but this is his fo sho real auntie, my sister :0)

Hangin' with Auntie

Auntie Terri bought Dalton this little hat, that also matches the one she bought cousin Lauer. Wait a minute, don't tell me we missed a photo opportunity to dress the cousins alike?! I'll have to look into that one.

Dalton & "The Greats"

My grandparents, Sonny & Sylvia, also came to Michigan while me & Dalton were there so he was able to meet his great grandparents.

Relaxing with Papa

Chowing with Nana

He really IS mine, I swear!

Dalton does not resemble me in any way...he's the spitting image of his daddy. Although he does have my brilliant intelligence and dazzling personality. And did I mention modest disposition?

Fancy Winter Hat

I bought this at Walmart up in Michigan for $2 - it was the perfect hat for when Grandpa took him on his daily walks and the weather was chilly. Yes, I know it was July but you never know what you might wake up to in the U.P.

There's a Frog In the Sink!

Mom and Melissa gave Dalton baths in the sink of my parents' new "mud room" in there brand new house. It was the perfect size for him to kick back & relax in.

Gimme a Lick, Auntie Julie

Let's Hold Hands, Lowie!

Dalton and his cousin, Lauer, a.k.a. "Lowie", are only 13 days apart. We all try to throw them together to play and/or for any photo op that comes our way. Poor kids will be traumatized?!

Ouch!

Cousin Lauer was getting a little over-excited and dangersous with that rattle! ha

Gimme a High Five, Cuz!

I Wanna Be A Cowboy

I bought this cowboy/western outfit from Babies R Us cuz I thought it was simply adorable. My hubby, however, reminded me that a) it's not Halloween and b) he's not a doll to play dress up with. Men! They have no sense of adventure, I swear.
