I was trying to take some pics of Dalton in his Steeler "gear" so I could give to Travis...dumb me waited to put this stuff on last so he was getting irritated by the end of our little photo shoot here (see next photo!).

Nap Time
Trav was getting ready to take a nap so we put Dalton next to him for a bit. He would never take a pacifier but for some reason he just started yesterday... but will only do so when he wakes up from a little nap and then only for like 5 minutes.
Dad is Yummy!
Trav had worked a long shift and was barely awake but Dalton was busy chomping on him! You can Dalton's two little white teeth under the gum on the bottom but nothing has broken the skin yet. He's only 16 weeks and is drooling like a drunken sailor...wonder when they'll come out?!

Today Dalton got a package from "Aunt" Janet in El Paso. It was a hat box that she decorated/personalized to match his nursery theme and it's adorable!! Inside she put tons of other homemade items (see next post) that are just fantastic - it must have taken her hours and hours to do all of this - we sure love it all & appreciate her thoughtful and amazing gifts!

Inside the hat box were all these goodies that she made herself: A little container for his hospital bracelet, an AMAZING scrapbook that has all the pages done and I just have to add pics (she knows me too well!) and the baby shower box to put my cards, favors and also a cd she decorated to transfer all my photos to. What can I say - she thought of everything so I now have somewhere to document/put all my baby mementos...incredible gifts, for sure!!

Watching Mom
He's fixated on what ridiculos faces, dances or songs I will perform in order to get him to smile!
In the Beginning...
This is when he was first home with us...so tiny! The next two pics show how big he has gotten, so hard to believe he's almost 16 weeks old (this Friday)!!
Making Progress
Nigel is finally warming up to this "baby situation". This is big progress here with him sitting next to Travis while he's holding Dalton. Normally he could care less and steers clear after a quick sniff of the baby. Not sure what is up with the camera/his eye color...normally they are blue (Nigel's eyes, not the baby or Trav's! ha).
So Strong
He's good about holding up his neck when you first put him on his belly but then he gets pooped and lays his face on the blanket and squawks until we pick him up.
Tummy Time
We try to put him on his belly several times a day but he isn't too thrilled with it just yet.

Don't Kick a Dog When He's Down
Dalton was getting excited and started kicking his feet so it was time to leave the poor old dog alone, he'd been so patient for the "photo shoot".
Dog Says, "I Didn't Push Him, I Swear"
Talk about an "action" shot - I must have taken this like the split second before Dalton face-planted on the couch. He hasn't quite mastered the sitting up thing yet...obviously...and in my defense - he didn't cry!! ha
My Feets!
He just discovered his feet this past week...he likes to grab on to them then fall sideways...hasn't put them in his mouth...YET!
