Exciting News!

Well, it's been quite awhile since I've posted and on the advice of my sis, I downloaded Picassa and now it's super easy to upload to this blog! So I "plan" to be more diligent with the photos. Hmmm, where to begin?! Dalton turned 1 year old on Feb 27th and we had a party here and then a joint bday party w/his cousin Lauer when we went to Michigan in March. We also plan to go back to MI in late June for my 20th class reunion (yikes!). Atleast I don't have to worry about losing weight (yes, I'm a shallow beeaatch) because....WE'RE EXPECTING AGAIN!!! Yay!! Trust me, no one was more surprised than we were :0) tee hee

Just found out last week that we will be having a little GIRL and she is due on 9/30/10. She'll probably make her appearance a week earlier since it'll be a repeat c-section. So THINK PINK everyone!! And luckily, pink just happens to be my favorite color so I am going to go buck wild with that poor girl's nursery. She will hate all shades/variations of pink by the time I have my way with her room! ha

Dalton is all over the place but not walking very regularly. He is much quicker doing the crawl so he only will walk if you coax him or if he's moving from the couch to the chair,etc. Just short "walks" on his own. I want him to get moving so I don't have to carry his little booty around all the time, he's getting heavy! ha We are enjoying him so much as he gets older and older - his personality is just the best and he's always in such a good mood! We cannot wait to see how he reacts to a new little sis...and are also beyond thrilled that he now will have a forever playmate!!

Dalton's New Favorite Thing

Suzette & James bought Dalton this for his birthday and he loves it! He gets in the little car and makes noises until someone will push him around the living room. Usually that someone is Daddy. Cuz Mommy hides the toy when Daddy isn't around. tee hee

We are planning to enroll Dalton in "real" swimming lessons but for now, we try to see if he can get the idea on his own...um...not so much.

The Beaudoin's gave Dalton this floatie for his bday and we had some nice weather and decided to heat the pool and give it a whirl. He LOVED it! Wasn't afraid at all and just floated all over the pool on his own.

As you can see, Nigel has finally warmed up to Dalton a bit. Granted, he's up on the couch but that's progress considering he used to just leave the room when Dalton came around. Ivan lets him crawl all over him...he's the more relaxed of the two.
